Marie “Cissie” Hancock Clark, age 95 of Morganfield, KY passed away on November 24, 2020 at The Health Center at Richland Place in Nashville, TN. She was born February 23, 1925 to James William Hancock Sr. and Allie Payne Hancock in Morganfield. She enjoyed golf, exercising, and shopping. Her sassy personality helped her to maintain friendships in both Kentucky and Fort Myers, FL where she spent the winters for over 40 years. During her time at Richland Place, she became an avid bingo player, enjoyed making jewelry, and watching old movies. Cissie loved to offer any visitors and staff treats from her Bingo winnings. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Morganfield and St. Cecilia’s in Fort Myers.
Cissie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” F. Clark; her brother, James William “Rooster” Hancock Jr.; her daughter, Sherry S. Drury; and son-in-law, George L. Drury.
Cissie is survived by her daughter, Jo Lane Stroud (Tom); grandchildren Clay Drury, Whitney Drury, Darrick Stroud, and T.J. Stroud; and great grandchildren Conrad and Kingston Drury.
