Marilyn Jean Katherine D’Errico Davis passed away on Monday August 19, 2019. She had been a resident of Nashville TN, since May 1, 1969. Marilyn Jean of the late Clara and Arthur D’Errico was born on July 12, 1938 in Leominister, Mass.
Ms. Davis was an Instructor at Columbia State Community College in Franklin, TN from September 1985-2003. She also previously taught at Volunteer State Community College, Edmondson Jr. College, and O’More College of Design and MTSU as adjunct faculty. Lastly, Ms. Davis was vice President of Academic Affairs at O’More college of design from 1993-1995.
She graduated from University of TN- in Nashville in 1979 will a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Gerontology. She also graduated from Fisk in 1981 with a Master of Arts Degree in Sociology with a Gerontology emphasis.
Ms. Davis worked in Accounting Music Industry for Brenda Lee, John Hager, Jeannie C. Riley, and Connie Smith; from 1993-2016
Ms. Davis is survived by her daughter Michele Bailey and son in law Jerry Bailey of MT. Juliet, TN and granddaughter Morgan Marie Bailey. The Pall bears will include Harlan J. Kimbro Jr. ( Butch),William C. Kimbro, Martin Frost, Danny Wise, Chris Taylor and Mark Wiggins. John Frost and Aaron Menard will be presiding over the service.
