Martha was born in Sparta, Tennessee, on May 31, 1931. She graduated from Sparta High School and went on to earn an associate degree from Martin Methodist College.
On November 26, 1953, Martha married F.A. McIntire in Ringgold, Georgia. Together they built a life grounded in love, family, and faith. Martha devoted loher life to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother—roles she cherished deeply.
She had a passion for travel and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Martha is survived by her children, Steve, Jeff, and Jim McIntire, as well as her granddaughter, Reanna Simpson.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to her family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, located at 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN, 37204, on December 10, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
