Marty Ray Allen

Marty Ray Allen of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at the age of 66. He was born on May 6th, 1955 in Nashville where he grew up in the home of Betty and John Allen). He graduated from Antioch High School in 1973. He traveled throughout Middle Tennessee as automotive parts sales representative in Middle Tennessee for over 30 years, and was employed by Freeland Chevrolet for many years. He loved sports, cooking, golf, playing live music but his biggest passion was people.

He loved people, and many in the automotive and music world loved him dearly and will miss his smile and great enthusiasm and stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Allen, Rose and Roy Marshall Essie Towry grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal; children, Amanda, Wesley, and Jessica; and brother, Michael.

Marty played music for over 45 years and touched thousands of people through music and his job on the road.

The Allen family will receive friends from 4 pm - 7 pm on Sunday, August 22nd at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park located at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tenn. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, August 23rd from 1pm - 4pm. A Celebration of Life will begin at 4 pm on Monday with Darryl Martin officiating.
