Mary Jane Kirk, age 97, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Mary was born August 29, 1924 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Kelly and Hester Short. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and her husband of nearly 51 years, Arthur E. Kirk.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Diane, Jeanie (Tim), and Bob (Linda); six grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Hymn Sing will be held in her memory at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 222 Belle Meade Blvd, Nashville, TN 37205.
Charitable donations in her memory can be made to the Sara Grigsby Endowed Scholarship at Belmont University.
