

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas Morgan who died serving his country in WWII.
She worked with her father in the the family business, M&M Office Machines, continuing the business after his death. She was an astute business woman. Katharine had a keen wit with a wonderful sense of humor. She was a devoted member of Belmont United Methodist Church and belonged to the Fort Nashborough chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a fifty year member of the Women’s Club of Nashville and also a member of the Allstate Bridge and Luncheon Club. Katharine enjoyed her bridge outings and friendships, was a patron of the arts and involved in the local community.
She is survived by cousins: William A. Morgan, MD of LaCross, WI, Richard H. Morgan, MD of Wilmington DE, and Donald Morgan, MD of Wilmington DE, Dr. Robert B. Lamb of Milledgeville, GA along with Carol Tucker of Lawrenceville, GA, Allen McMillon of Lawrenceville, GA and Kathy M. Giancola of Atlanta, GA.
Family will receive friends at 1pm, November 9th at Belmont United Methodist Church with the memorial service to follow at 2pm with the Rev. Ken Edwards officiating. Family will have a burial service on Monday morning at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Belmont United Methodist Church, 2007 Acklen Avenue, Nashville, TN 37212 or a charity of your choice in Katharine’s memory.
