Mary Douglas Mullins (Auntie Doug), age 99, passed away on December 23, 2017 in La Vergne, TN. Preceded in death by her husband, William J. Mullins and parents, Ross L. and Anne Sugg Holman. Survived by niece, Lynn Butterfield Maras; great niece, Cammille Butterfield Harris and several nieces and nephews. She graduated from Hume-Fogg High School, Nashville Tennessee College for Women, Murfreesboro, TN and received her MBA Degree from UT Nashville Campus in June 1973. Mary served in various capacities with the Federal Government, retiring in 1973, from position of Claims Examiner with the Veterans Administration. She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church where she served as a member of the Board of Trustees, Administrative board, Lay Member to Annual Conference, and Sunday School teacher. Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, December 29, 2017 at one o’clock in the afternoon, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Gathering of family and friends with be from eleven o’clock in the morning of Friday until the service time at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
