Age 93 of Nashville, passed away May 2, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Irving Titus; parents, Fred Augustus and Willie West Cleveland, and brother, Dr. William Cleveland of Miami, FL. Mrs. Titus was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Judy Hugh (Joe), John Titus (Diane) and Jan Safavi; grandchildren, Kay Davy (Steven), Amy Parker (Adam) and Brandon Titus; niece, Jane Cleveland; nephew, Bill Cleveland (Sara) and great-niece, Vivian Cleveland; and supportive friend, Ms. Frances White. Mrs. Titus was a retired librarian from Norman Binkley Elementary School. She served in the Marine Corps, stationed at Pearl Harbor following the attacks during WWII. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nashville Humane Association, 213 Oceola Ave., Nashville, TN 37209. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 in Woodlawn Memorial Park, with Dr. Ben Jordan officiating.
