

She graduated from Ensworth School and the high school of Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Pomona College, Claremont CA she continued her studies in different areas. She received a Masters in French from Middlebury Language School, a J.D from University of Texas-Austin and a Masters of International Affairs and Pacific Rim Studes from University of California-San Diego. She used her knowledge of language and international affairs to work in anti-money laundering compliance.
In her early years she participated with Middle Tennessee Pony Club spending summer weeks at Percy Warner Park barn and the Regional Rally at Kentucky Horse Park. She began her travels with agricultural studies in Cumbria England. A Four Worlds trip took her to Nepal, Egypt, Vienna and Guatemala. She spent years living in California and France. The Vanderbilt Global Opportunities Program gave her the opportunity to create and teach a month-long session in English to students at Shandong University in Jinan, China.
She enjoyed her dogs and found peace walking in nature. We will miss the good times when she could share her laughter, thoughtful gifts and insightful observations.
She is preceded in death by her father Alex Fall Wade and survived by her mother Mary Wade and sister DeeDee Johnson Wade. We are grateful for the support of friends, family and the professionals who have helped navigate this journey. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet at 11:30 on May 26, 2026. The following day, Wednesday, May 27, friends are invited to gather with her family from 4:30 to 6:30 at Belle Meade Country Club.
