Neoportia (Portia) O’Neal, 75, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away December 1, 2024. Born to the late Forrest and Lockey Dee Utley on June 9, 1949, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering kindness.
Portia married the late Michael O’Neal on January 10, 1970. They were blessed with one child, Kristopher O’Neal.
Portia was a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of all who knew her. She possessed a unique ability to make everyone feel special and cherished. Her vibrant sense of humor always lit up the room with laughter.
She graduated as salutatorian from her high school, and moved on professionally to become the Lead Marketing Executive for a major HVAC company. She was a devoted and respected employee for over 30 years.
Her loving memory will be survived by her only son (Kristopher O’Neal); her grandson (J’Von O’Neal); her granddaughter (Ashlie Stone); her daughter-in-law, who she considered her born-daughter (Angela O’Neal); and her sister (Dorris Jean Walker-Taylor).
Portia was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and a loyal friend. She cherished her loved ones deeply and was always there to offer support and encouragement. She was a matriarch to those around her, and will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
A visitation for Neoportia will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Neoportia will be laid to rest at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Memorial Park.
