May 2, 1991 - June 30, 2013
Our precious son and brother, Nicholas Fleming Concepcion, passed away suddenly on June 30, 2013. Nicholas was a graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy and was completing his final semester at the University of Tennessee in accounting.
Remembered as a gentleman with a quick wit, passion for golf and his ability to turn a phrase, Nicholas leaves a legacy of tenderness and genuine friendship. The numerous and endearing stories about Nicholas will forever comfort all who knew him.
Nicholas is survived by his sister, Isabel, whom he loved dearly, and his parents, Janetta Fleming and Raoul Concepcion of Nashville. He also leaves behind grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a circle of friends. Nicholas is predeceased by his beloved grandfathers, Jim Fleming and Raymundo Concepcion, and his grandmother, Aida Concepcion.
The family would like to thank friends who share our grief and have generously reached out through stories, gifts, helping hands and loving words. All of these have comforted us more than you can imagine.
Visitation is 6-8 pm Friday, July 5, at Christ Church Cathedral Parish Hall. The final half hour of the Visitation will be organized for remembrances of Nicholas. There will be an overnight Burial Vigil from 8 pm (Friday) to 11 am (Saturday) at Christ Church Cathedral Chapel; the Vigil is open to all. Services begin at 11 am Saturday, July 6, and will include a Celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Christ Church Cathedral is at 900 Broadway, Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nicholas Fleming Concepcion Memorial Fund at Montgomery Bell Academy. I will not forget you,
I have written your name on the palms of my hands.
