Nicholas Reid Wiser

Nicholas Reid Wiser, age 23, passed Monday, June 20, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas, attended by his beloved dog, Aria. He fought his demons for many years, winning some of the battles but ultimately losing his personal war with drugs. Nick was athletic and loved creating art throughout his life, and many of his paintings and other creations are displayed throughout his family home. He was a Christian whose entertaining personality and infectious humor brought joy to those around him. Nick had a huge heart and impacted many lives with his kindness. He brought hope to his friends in his recovery community. We will all miss our beloved curly haired, lovable Nick. In addition to his beloved dog Aria, Nick is survived by his loving family, father Ted, mother Lynn and his brother Andrew. He is also survived by his grandfather Kenneth Wiser of Fosterville, his grandmother Nancy Couch of Westmoreland and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Bill Couch, his grandmother Edwina Wiser and his uncle David Wiser. Services will be held at Woodmont Baptist Church, 2100 Woodmont Boulevard, Nashville. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, from five to eight o'clock in the evening and Memorial Service on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at eleven o'clock in the morning.
