He was born on June 16, 1938, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Norman L. Armonat Sr. and Dora Jahn Armonat. Norman earned his bachelor’s degree from Point Park University and a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas.
On February 13, 1960, Norman married the love of his life, Judith Elaine Brooks, in Winchester, Virginia. Together, they shared 65 years of marriage and built a beautiful family.
Norman dedicated more than 50 years of his life to a successful career as an accountant. He was also a proud Free Mason, cherishing the fellowship and traditions of the fraternity.
Above all, Norman was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Judith E. Brooks Armonat; children, Denise Armonat Reed (Karl), Diane Armonat Lovett, and Brian Armonat; as well as seven beloved grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 1:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 600 Thompson Ln., Nashville, Tennessee 37204.
