Patricia "Patty" Lee Barnett, aged 89, passed away on November 30, 2025. She was born on October 30, 1936 to the late Henry & Ida Robinson in Nashville, Tennessee. Patricia was married to the late Rev.Samuel David Barnett.
Patricia is survived by her children, David Barnett, Linda Kay Barnett Light (Ted) and Robin Dawn Barnett Drury (Jeremiah); 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and her sister, Mary Kay Wilson.
She graduated from Nashville Central High School and Columbia State Community College with a degree in nursing. Patricia served almost 20 years as a Registered Nurse at Vanderbilt University Children's Hospital. She continued to volunteer after retiring from nursing at Vanderbilt University Children's Hospital in the children's playroom and on the floor. She had a passion for sewing. Patricia was a faithful member of Crievewood United Methodist Church.
Gathering of family and friends for Patty will be Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 12:00PM till 2:30PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane Nashville, TN 37204 with the celebration of life service at 2:30PM. Interment will be held at 3:30PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park (Southside).
