Paul Louis Barnard

BARNARD, Paul Louis, age 82, died Thursday, October 27, 2011. Preceded in death by parents James and Flora Covington Barnard and 3 Infant Sons. Survived by wife of 54 yrs JoAnne Franks Barnard; daughters, Janet (Henry) Fuerst, Teresa (Joseph) Serena, and Gina (Phillip) Holt; grandchildren Hank (Deirdre) Fuerst, Paul Fuerst, Emmie Baird, Olivia Baird, Jennifer Holt and Bethany Serena; great-grandchild Annaleise Logan; sister Ellen (Sam) Basham; brother Robert (Frances) Barnard; sister-in-law Frieda Hunter; brother-in-law Kenneth (Gail) Franks. Paul retired from TPS after 30 plus years of service. He also served on the USS Uhlmann DD687 during the Korean War from 1951-1954 and was a communicant of The Cathedral of the Incarnation. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday October 31, 2011 at The Cathedral of the Incarnation, Rev. Joseph Patrick Breen Celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Father Ryan Classes of 1949 and 1950, USS Uhlmann DD684 Shipmates, and the Saturday Morning Breakfast Group. Visitation with the family will be held 4-8 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011 in the Fleming Center at the Cathedral with the Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. and also one hour before the service Monday at the Cathedral.
