BURNS, Peter J., age 77, Friday, June 21, 2013. Survived by wife Sherrill L. Burns, children Peter J. Burns III, Patrick J. (Liz) Burns, Suzanne (Burt) Towry, Kelly (Keith) Reinhardt, and Scott (Meuchel) Thompson; grandchildren Lindsey, Jacob, Claire, Christopher, Josh, Caroline, Kathryn, Kaily, Maddie, and Cassey; sister Judith Flannelly; bother Robert Burns; niece Jessica Flannelly and nephew Tim Flannelly and constant companion Charlie. Peter served as Passed Grand Knight of Knight of Columbus Counsel # 554, he loved photography, a true gentleman who was loved by all who met him. The family would like to think Alive Hospice at St. Thomas for their loving care. Memorial service twelve o’clock noon, Tuesday, June 25,2013 at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice.
