Raymond Edward Pruett

Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him. A lifelong Realtor, Ray built his career on honesty, integrity, and a deep love for helping people find their place to call home. He was one of the founders of Woodmont Realty Group, where his leadership and passion for the real estate industry helped shape the company’s success and lasting reputation.

Family was everything to Ray. He cherished every gathering, every story shared, and every moment spent with those he loved most. Known for his bright smile and kind heart, Ray had a way of lighting up any room he entered. His giving spirit, humor, and unwavering optimism left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Edward Pruett Sr. and Blanche Bush Pruett, and by his beloved son, Michael Todd Pruett. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Knoch Pruett, and his four children: Ray Pruett III (DeAnn Pruett), Ginger Pruett Holmes (Tim Holmes), Patrick Pruett (Michelle Pruett), and David Pruett (Lori Pruett). He was also the proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and his three sisters, Patti Bateman, MaryJo Boles and Kathy Bethurum.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, colleagues, and the countless lives he touched throughout his 83 remarkable years.

Visitation will be on Monday November 3, 2025, from 4-7 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be On Tuesday November 4, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in honor of Ray’s memory to Fed By Faith, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit at By Faith Farm — a ministry dedicated to donating 100% of its fresh produce to families in need.
