Though it's a bit late, I just learned of Rick's passing, though we didn't talk often it was always like we had talked 5 minutes ago and were just picking up the conversation.  I went to High School with Rick and we stayed friends throughout the years.  I feel there is a huge hole in the world and my heart goes out to Cindy and Andrew  I never knew him to be "down" in the 45 years we knew each other.  "See you later, Rick"

I met Rick about 6 or 7 years ago in an AT&T training class in Atlanta. He made such an impression on me. What a great sense of humor he had. I had a chance to work with him on couple of occasions when I called tech support. On those occasions when I spoke with him, he talked to me just like I was his best friend. I believe that's the way he treated every individual he came in contact with. My prayers go out to his family. I pray that GOD's peace and comfort that passes all understanding will keep them during this difficult time.

Cindy and Andrew, I am so sad to hear of Rick's illness and passing.  Rick was a wonderful co-worker.  Even though we have not worked together for many years, I still have many memories of working with him.  He always had a smile on his face and was willing to share his knowledge and expertise.  You will both be in my prayers.

I'm so happy I spent time with Rick & family at the family reunion.He is at peace with no pain. I'm very sad.

Rick and I go back to when Rick was made a tech support enginner.  We made several customer premise visits together.  I always looked forward to seeing Rick.  Mary and I cherished our visits to Nashville to spend time with Rick and Cindy.  Our hearts are saddened that Rick is no longer with us.  May God rest his soul.

Thank God that we got to spend time with Ricky and his family this past Christmas.

My cousin Ricky, was awesome! He was always an Email or phone call away. He could always make me laugh, and would always give good advice. Ricky had a love of life, adventure, laughter, his friends, dogs, his family, his children, his grandsons, and his Cindy.

Rick will always be missed. He made you laugh. He made you know that he cared. He gave Bill and I many happy memories of what a true friend is.

Rick helped me work through some problems in Connecticut, and when I was overwhelmed he somehow had me laughing and learning at the same time. Although we never met, our conversations made it obvioius he was a wonderful family man with a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family. He will be sorely missed.

I remember the last conversation Rick and I had. It was a nice conversation I will always remember.
I did not know Rick very long but it was long enough to know he was a good person with a big heart.

Diamond and Monty

My heart is broken.  A lump as big as the State of Texas swells within me.  I have had  he priviledge of knowing and working with Rick for the last 18 years. Rick always referred to me as his baby brother, he being with Bell/AT&T and of course I being with Nortel/Avaya. Anytime  the two of us were on the same call you would wonder how in the world anything would get resolved.  It always did. And our customers  were laughing.  I will not forget the words and encouragement Rick expressed to me when I had my open heart surgery 1 1/2 years ago. I will not forget the convesations we had  concerning our families and the devotion he shared about his.  Yes Rick and I had a lot of things in common.  Our love of God, our love of family and our general laid back easy going nature.  To the family,  My heart is with you, You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Even though I haven't seen Rick in many years I often thought of him, He always called me his "little brother" I will miss you Rick. God Speed my friend!

Rick was a GREAT person.  We worked together when I was worked at Nortel ETAS.  He was such a hoot to work with and always made me laugh.  Rick will be greatly missed.  My thoughts and prayer are with his family.

I will always be honored to have worked with Rick for a few short years. In his career of problem-solving, he maintained dignity when addressing minor issues, yet managed to reduce the burden of dealing with our major challenges. Collaboration with him was always seasoned with the appropriate amount of humor to brighten any situation. Our work group shall never be quite the same after losing someone as decent as Rick.

Our condolences to the Hagan family, my husband worked with Rick via AT&T, Rick and I shared emails about Tennessee, as we are looking to relocate to the Franklin area. He was always very kind in responding to my emails with my millions of questions. I am sorry that I never had the pleasure of meeting him. We will keep him in our prayers, and his family too. Rick was a great friend and co-worker. We had many good times together. He had the ability to always lighten the mood. I will miss him greatly.

Rick was always willing to go the extra mile in assisting techs on callouts.He was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and was a joy to work with. We'll miss him!!! Our prayers go out to his family in this difficult time.

Rick was a WONDERFUL person, who could ALWAYS make you smile and laugh no matter what mood you were in.  He was a mentor to me, always willing to take the time to help with any problems that I was trying to figure out with the phone systems.  He will be missed by many!
