I will truley miss talking to Rick and hearing about his fantastic fishing adventures.  He was a man who could embrace life and live it fully.

Hilda, I have known Rick for a long time through church and school. He was always looking for fun and laughs and as a result shared with the rest of us. I really appreaciated your opening up your house to us for the reunion. I was so glad that I was able to spend time with Rick. My thoughts are with you and your family. Everyone will miss him. Im really sorry to hear about Rabbit he was one and a million. Just know he was meet by his best friend Richard "BIRD" Hoffman at the pearly gates. They have alot of catching up to do. My prayers go out to all family members and friends. You are my safety in times of trouble O God. There will now be a big fishing tournament in the sky with the Nashville Bassmasters.  The ring leader is now there with Fat Cat, Bird, Scout, Ward, Farris, Shorty Foster, and tag along Jimmy Joe.  Rabbit was loved by everyone that knew him.  He was a great friend and there will never be another one like him.  Our love and sympathy goes out to Hilda and Rabbits girls. Rick was in my sister's class  and was certainly one of the best known and most popular guys at Donelson High!  I am certainly saddened and shocked by this news.
