Wayne was born September 4, 1941 in Shelbyville, Tennessee to the late Robert Walter and Linnie Faye McAdams.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in the medical corps, retired brick mason, and avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by daughter, Melinda Braxton; son-in-law, Bill Braxton; and son, Robert Wayne “Bubba” McAdams, II.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty “Sue” McAdams.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10, 2015 at two-thirty in the afternoon at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home in Nashville. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock. The family will also receive friends from noon until time of service on Monday.
