Mr. Robert (Bob) D. Sanders, Jr., age 79, passed away June 17, 2017. He was the son of the late Robert D. Sanders, Sr., and Maggie Lee Sanders. Bob was a retired pharmacist tech, and veteran of the Unites States Army. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Harold Sanders and Douglas Wayne. Surviving are his devoted wife of 38 years Linda Perry Sanders. Step daughter Robin Shadden . Sister Marian Sanders Tews. Nephews Vince (Marla) Tews and Danny (Diann) Tews. A host of other relatives and friends also survive. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday June 22, 2017, 2 PM Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel. Interment the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 pm at the Historic Mount Olivet Funeral Home & Cemetery.
