Robert Lehman Shugart

SHUGART, Robert L. "Bob" Age 79 of Nashville. October 19, 2010. Born December 2, 1930 to the late Alma and Mark Shugart. Bob was one of eight children. He loved golfing. He was part of the Inner City Products League. He enjoyed teaching adult financial classes, coaching little league, Jr. Achievement and Titans Football. A member of Bethel Friends Church, Marion, IN. Bob retired from Inter City Products Corp., where he was the Director of Budgets Cost and Financial Analysis. Survived by wife of 60 years, Vernell "Nell" Shugart; daughter, Nikki Kaye (James) Taylor; sons, Robert Greg (Janelle) and Michael Kim (Jane) Shugart; sister, Carol Heiser; brothers, Maurice and Paul Shugart; grandchildren, Shelli Semiklose, Shaun, Justin, Stephen and Chad Shugart; great-grandchildren, Sanders and Hutch Semiklose. A Memorial Celebration of Bob's life will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall, with Elaine and Joe Vandegriff officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association . Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service Saturday. A special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Chaplains at St. Thomas Hospital for their love and support.
