

Robin was born on February 3, 1957 in Okinawa, Japan, the daughter of Boyd Duncan Riggs and Carolyn Jane Agnew Riggs, and they precede her in death. She married Mark Williams on November, 3, 1979, and he survives.
Also surviving is her daughter, Erin (husband, Nathan) Patton; grandchildren, William, James, Laurabelle, Elsie, and Callum; and brother, Scott Riggs.
Robin attended Welch College, formerly known as Free Will Baptist Bible College, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree. She worked for many years at Gaylord Opryland, and later as a call manager for AAA.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Robin enjoyed spending time with family and her many church friends at Cofer’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member. She loved people through her crafts. Robin loved sports, and particularly loved her Dodger baseball and ice skating.
Awarded the Honor Pin from Girl Scouts, the highest award given to a volunteer, Robin valued her time as a leader and mentor to many young women. She was involved with mentoring home school mothers via on-site classes and on-line forums. Robin also enjoyed being involved in WheresGeorge.com.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from six o’clock until seven-thirty in the evening at Cofer’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 3915 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN. A Celebration of Robin’s Life will follow at seven-thirty.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
