Roy Westley Hardy

Roy Westley Hardy, age 92, of Donelson, TN passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on July 30, 2016 at home. Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by his wife of sixty seven years, Ann C. Hardy, parents LeRoy and Cora Avril Hardy, and granddaughter, Shannon Underwood. He is survived by son, Tim Hardy (Daffiny) of Mt Juliet, TN, daughters Judy Jamison (Jamie) of Old Hickory, TN, Donna Underwood (Jim) of Garland, TX, and Kathy Lee (Vic) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Jay Jamison (Stephanie) of Hendersonville, TN, Melissa Bricker (Cole) of Corinth, TX, Clay Underwood (Shannon) of Garland, TX, Nathan Lee (Shandra) of Atlanta, GA, Clint Lee (Lauren) of Carrollton, GA, Chase Hardy (Elaine) of Annapolis, MD, and Chase Mathis of Mt Juliet, TN; great grandchildren, Reece, Carlisle, and William Jamison and Wyatt and Truett Lee. Mr. Hardy was an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines for thirty seven years. He also served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. The family will receive friends at Mount Olivet Funeral Home, 1101 Lebanon Road, Nashville, TN Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 4-8 pm and Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 11am-1pm, with a Celebration of Life at 1pm. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandchildren Jay Jamison, Nathan Lee, Clint Lee, Chase Hardy, Chase Mathis and great grandchildren Reece Jamison and William Jamison.
