Mrs. Stigler was born on September 3, 1913 in Asher, Oklahoma,
daughter of the late Francis Terril Laster and Desrah Gann Laster.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, W. Leonard Stigler;
brothers, Lynn and Calvin Laster; sisters, Chlo Rene Laster and Lucille Laster Brinley.
Survivors include her daughters, Sara Lynn Mayo (M.F.) and Frances Bedwell (Bobby);
grandchildren, Karen Gayle Mayo Loyal, Michael Kevin Mayo (Kelli),
Kendal Bedwell (Janet) and Karl Bedwell (Teresa); twelve great-grandchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Orra Lee Laster Bovee.Rozella was a beloved wife,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She was a faithful Preacher's wife, 4th grade teacher in Ohio, Junior High Counselor in Ohio,
Sunday School Teacher, WWU Leader and Nursery Coordinator.She graduated from
Oklahoma Baptist University and received a Master's Degree from Ohio University.
She was loved by all, and admired by church congregations as their pastor's wife in Oklahoma, Tennessee and Ohio.
She was an inspiration to all who knew her.Her family wishes to thank the doctors,
nurses and caregivers at Somerfield Health Center in Brentwood for her special care for the past 7 and a half years.
They all have become very close to our family. Our thanks also to the Guardian Hospice nurses and caregivers this past year.
Funeral Services will be held at two-thirty in the afternoon on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
Internment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.Visitation will be held from twelve noon until two-thirty
in the afternoon on Sunday, October 26, 2014.In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be sent to Leonard Stigler Scholarship Fund,
c/o Judson Baptist Church, 4900 Franklin Rd., Nashville, TN 37220 or Judson Jewels, c/o Judson Baptist Church.
