Ruby Tramel Deal, age 101, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Ruby was born March 24, 1920. The daughter of Dennis Eaton and Julie Ann Tramel, Ruby was the 9th child of 13 siblings. She was saved as a young girl at Snow Hill Baptist Church in Smithville, TN. Ruby was a member of Whitley Memorial Baptist Church since 1965, and was their oldest member. She was a wonderful cook who always put on delicious Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, and was an absolutely joyous person who loved her family and all of her friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Ervin and Linda Jennette Petty (Harold), her stepdaughter, Sandra Loggins (Travis), her 8 grandchildren, Kelli, Scot, Sharon, Kayron, Kenny, Patti Lynn, Pam and Troy, her 5 great grandchildren, Alex, Abbey, Steven, Ashleigh, and Lauren, several great great grandchildren and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 24th from 10:00am to 12:00pm for visitation. The service will be held in Dignity Hall at 12:00pm with Reverend Paul Tramel officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park at 2:00pm. Pallbearers will include family and friends.
