Steve and I wanted to send our condolences on the passing of your mother and mother-in-law, Ruth.  We hope the memories of days gone by bring peace and comfort to you and your family at this difficult time.   May Ruth's name always be a blessing.

Mrs. Ruth always asked for a picture every time we went to visit. The most recent time we went to see her, this was taken. Ruth loved pictures because she loved having the memories to look at. May she rest in peace and her memory be for blessing🤍🕊️

Mrs. Ruth was a special lady and my children had adopted her as grandmother. They discovered her at Ethridge House while visiting my aunt and they were so excited to learn that she knew their dad and late grandparents. She had a special connection with them and she will be dearly missed.

Our Mothers had such fun being at the same table at the Ethridge House. They would sing and recite poetry and tell stories of Union City when they both first came here!! It was a wonderful memory for me to listen to them. They really had fun reliving the past! She loved you all dearly so take comfort in that- she told us all often! I want to express my condolences for the loss of my Aunt Ruth.  I spent many good times in Union City with Aunt Ruth. I spoke with her either once a week or every other week. I would call or she would call me to see how everything was doing. She was very sharp until the end. I loved her and will miss her.

My condolences to the Gorman family. I grew up living next door to the Gorman family in 1968. She would invite me over often to play board games with her and Jerry. She would always volunteer to take Jerry and I basball practice. I kept intouch with her the last few years to say hi and wish her Happy Birthday. Mrs Gorman had a great love for her family as well as people in the neighborhood and the community. She will be deeply missed. RIP Mrs. Gorman

So sorry to learn of Ruth’s passings.  My family lived Next door to the Gorman family in Sherwood Hills, Union City ,Tn.  We kept in contact over the years always a pleasure to talk to Harry and Ruth, and learn how their children were getting along. Jerry take and your in my prayers and thoughts. Allen too.

My condolences to the Gorman family in the loss of Mrs. Gorman. She and Mr. Gorman were lovely people and always so kind to me. I will be praying your family’s strength and comfort during this difficult time.

I  want to express my sincere condolences for the loss of my Aunt Ruth. My family loved her dearly. We spoke often and she remembered every birthday and holiday. She was so sharp until the end. We will definitely miss her.  May her memory be a blessing to all that knew her. 

Growing up in UC, it was a big deal to finally get old enough to fit into the beautiful clothes at Libby’s and to shop there for a special occasion. Mrs. Gorman was always so sweet and helpful, and made everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Jerry and Alan, our thoughts are with you and your family as you remember and honor your mom. 
 

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathies for the loss of my Aunt Ruth. I have wonderful memories of going to visit her in Union City and also for the times she came to visit us in NYC.  We always had so much fun together. She was always so sharp in her thinking until the end. She will be greatly missed.

I'm sorry for the loss of this amazing woman. I met her almost 20 years ago and every time we spoke she was always so encouraging to me. She will be missed dearly.
