PAYNE, Sadie Belle, age 82 passed away February 21, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harold Edwin (Ed) Payne; father, Andrew Estes; mother, Annie Lacy Ramsey Estes; and brother, Foster Estes. Survived by son, Eddie Payne (Polly) and daughter, Lynda Payne-Dunlap (Andy); sisters, Dorlene Robinson of Cornersville and Linda Gray, Hendersonville; grandchildren, Billy Denton, Jr. and Britany (Brian) Larson; six step-grandchildren; one great grandchild, Summer Larson; and five step-great grandchildren. Mrs. Payne graduated from Marshall County High School. A member of the Church of Christ, she worked with the TN Department of Safety for over 35 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Ralph Griggs officiating. Interment will be in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Family members will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Tennessee Highway Patrol Retired Officers Association. Visitation Tuesday 2:00pm until 8:00pm and Wednesday 12:00 pm until services.
