Sandra Joan Carden

Sandra Joan Carden, age 71, passed Away on April 25, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Carden and her son Aaron Carden. She is survived by her children, Richard Dewayne Hayes, Gwen Haygood and Michael Edward (Christina) Carden, brother, James Appleton, sisters, Beverlie (Tim) House and Kathy (Larry) Pedigo, grandchildren, Shianne Hailey, Nathaniel Hailey and Jaxson Duke, great-granddaughter Lainey’ Blu and their loving dog Daisey.

Joan was a loving mother, sister and a devoted nanny to her grandchildren. She was a very crafty person who loved to cook and take care of others. She was an interior design industry professional and owned Joan’s Custom Work Room and worked for the Curtain Call in Nashville until she retired. She made homes beautiful for Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, Jimmy Seals of “Seals & Croft”, Carrie Underwood, Luke Brian, the show Christly Knows Best and the set of the Emmy Award Show ”Nashville” to name a few.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, with a funeral service following at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Ln. Nashville, TN 37204.
