Sara Martin Roland, age 84, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. Sara was born June 28, 1937 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late, Watkins Alexander Martin and Sarah Dickson Martin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Roland.
Sara is survived by her children, David (Gerlinda) Roland and Scott (Kristie) Roland; granddaughter, Lexie Roland; grandson, Thomas Joseph (TJ) Roland and brother, Tony Martin.
Sara was a longtime member of the Belle Meade United Methodist Church.
A gathering of family and friends for Sara will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from five until seven in the evening at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A Celebration of Life Service will occur Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at ten o'clock in the morning in Dignity Hall at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
