

Lillicrap, Sharon Hamilton, 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on July 11, 2025. True to who she was, she left this world with quiet strength and love all around her. Sharon was one of the most dependable hardworking people you will ever meet-someone who showed up, lent a hand, and cared deeply for her family, friends and community. She leaves behind a legacy of love, grit, and generosity, and we’re all better for having known her. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Minor Lewis and Hattie Moore Hamilton.
Sharon was a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ, and served for 40 years as a Nashville real estate agent.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Lionel; children, Kim Lillicrap, Michael (Julie) Lillicrap, Karie (Tracy) Duke; sister Pat (Phil) Overmyer, Cincinnati, Ohio; nine grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and her loving dog Millie.
In celebration of Sharon’s life the Lillicrap family will be receiving friends on Monday, July 14th, from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions made be made in Sharon’s name to Lipscomb Academy, 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville, TN 37204, Attn: Sheron Davidson.
