Sherron Green Wakefield, 75, of Milton, TN. passed away Monday October 21, 2024. Sherron was born October 27, 1948 in Nashville, TN to James and Lucille Green. Sherron attended school in Nashville and following high school she met and married Kenneth Wakefield Sr. Sherron spent many years in the banking industry before joining Kenneth in running the family business, Quality Steel Service.
Sherron was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed hosting many family gatherings, especially during the holidays. Sherron was proud of her family and was always supporting them and attending their school and sporting events.
Sherron was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Wakefield Sr., her parents James and Lucille Green, sisters, JudyMay McAdams and Jo Ann Riddle and a brother Jimmy Green.
Sherron is survived by her daughter, Cathy Hamilton, son Kenny (Janet) Wakefield, Jr. granddaughter Kelly Wakefield, great granddaughters Alyssa Wakefield and Vanessa Whitley, great grandson Jacob Wakefield, sisters, Evelyn Green Whitehead, Jane Carver and Helen Green.
