Shirley Lee Burrum

Shirley Lee Burrum, age 70, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023. She was born September 26, 1952 in Nashville, TN to the late, Clara Anna Clemons. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 40 years, Charles H. Burrum.

She is survived by her children, Bryant (Jennifer) Burrum, Stephen (Michelle) Burrum and Karen Burrum, ten grandchildren; Shelby (Nick) Minnick, Faithlyn Burrum, Hunter Burrum (Annalease Moreno), Keith Smith, Connor Smith, Nevaeh Burrum, Jordan Burrum, Chelsea Stevens, Joshua Stevens, Matthew Stevens, and two great-grandchildren; Remington Burrum and Beaux Burrum.

Shirley was an amazing woman of many talents. You were always welcome with open arms and a smile when you saw her. She was the most selfless and caring woman you have ever met. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. Her favorite thing to do in her pastime was making quilts as well as Afghans and loved to create her own designs for all the crafts that she worked on. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandmother and friend.

A gathering of family and friends for Shirley will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A gathering of family and friends will occur Thursday, April 13, 2023 prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 2:30 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Following the service will be a graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
