

Sid married Kathleen Margaret Bott on March 31, 1956, in the Willesden District of London, England. Sid joined the British Armed Forces and served for his country. He and Margaret immigrated to the United States in 1957, at the age of 24, and have lived In Nashville, TN for 60 years. His wife, Margaret, was a fantastic cook who made lasagna, homemade stew, Yorkshire pudding, cheesecake, and vanilla wafer cake. He and his brother, Les, owned a BSA motorcycle in their younger years. A hard-working tool & die maker who was determined to provide for his family. Sid's main goal was to educate his children so they would be successful in life. He tried to make friends with everyone he met and was always a positive person. He enjoyed having his family all being athletes in some respect and enjoyed their competitive competitions throughout the years. Sid enjoyed traveling, bowling, , boating, fishing, waterskiing, swimming, tennis, or any sports that his children wanted to pursue. He and his family were also long-time members of Blakemore United Methodist Church. He was a 60-year member of The Ionic No. 254 Nashville, Tennessee Grand Mason Lodge.
Sid loved his wife of 58 years and is looking forward to seeing her in heaven to continue their love for one another since she passed in 2014. He loved his family unconditionally and would do anything for them to help out as best he could.
Sid is survived by his children, Gary (Leigh) Jameson, and Gillian (Eddie) Tomlinson; grandchildren, Isaac Jameson, Jackson Jameson, Sydney (Nick) Cork. Lace (Shawn) Cates, Mia Blackman, Ian Tomlinson, and Henry Landrum; great-grandchildren, Emma Cork, Elizabeth, Corbin, Caroline and Colin Cates; sister, Sheila Hayman; brother-in-law, Les Bott; sister-in-law, Helen Bott; nieces, Helen Jameson, Michelle Smith, Melody Smith, Connie Pannell, Jackie Rice, Stephanie Gillingham, Zanthe Selvester, Persephone Lauer, JoAnna Sutherland-Young; Nephew, Johnathan James, and Paul Hayman; and great-nephew, Cameron Wilson.
Other than his parents, Sid is preceded in death by is loving wife, Margaret Jameson, brother; Les Jameson; sister, Joyce Jameson; sister-in-law, Edie Jameson; brother-in-law, Michael Hayman, and Ray Bott; mother and father-in-law, Les and Kathleen Bott; and nephews, Jim Pannell, Doug Jameson, and Greg Jameson.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following will be a Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
