Stephen Dale Pigue, Sr., age 64, passed away peacefully at his home December 15, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, J.T. Pigue; mother, Christine Pigue McKeand and stepfather, Robert C. McKeand. Stephen is survived by his son, Stephen D. Pigue, Jr.; daughter, Ashley Pigue; grandchildren, Chloe and Preston Pigue, Savannah and Austin; and sister, Starlene Pigue (Joe) Sykes. Mr. Pigue was a lifetime Type I diabetic, graduated from Glencliff High School in 1967 and attended Tennessee Tech University. He was a Brick Mason then started his own business, S&S Pallet Company. Stephen was critically injured in a car accident in 1992 which led to an early retirement. He had a love for dogs and successfully showed Irish Setters. Mr. Pigue lived on Old Hickory lake and always enjoyed water sports, was an avid sports fan and spent a lot of time in his early years drag racing cars. He coached Little League Baseball, and will always be remembered for being a practical joker and loving women. Visitation will be held from five until eight o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 18th of December, 2013 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will be held at two-thirty in the afternoon on Thursday, the 19th of December in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held two hours prior to the service. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
