Terry L. Barnes

Mr. Terry L. Barnes age 70, of Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 17, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Barnes was born in Nashville, TN, on May 23, 1944, the son of the late Annie Irene Hutton Barnes and C.E. Barnes. He loved playing golf, hunting, fishing, and doing woodcrafts. Mr. Barnes was a deacon at Alta Loma Baptist Church and Green Hill Baptist Church and went to several mission trips with the church’s youth. He retired from DuPont Plant after thirty-five years of service. Survivors include his wife, Pam Collett Barnes; children and their spouses, Sherry Barnes Unland, Mike and Michelle Barnes, and Holly Barnes Hula and James Hula; and grandchildren, Nikki and Drew Cochrane, David Unland, Hannah Barnes, Victoria Hula, and Christina Hula. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at ten o’clock in the morning, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Rev. Michael Barnes and Brother Richard Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Tuesday from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening, Woodlawn Roesch-Patton-Funeral Home.
