Ms. Virginia Dressel Winters age 92, of Nashville, TN, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015. Ms. Winters was born in Antioch, TN, the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Dressel and Mamie Madison Seat Dressel. She was a secretary for the United States Army during World War II and retired from Wal-Mart. Ms. Winters was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She loved sewing, gardening, and decorating her home. In addition to her parents, Ms. Winters was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Walton. Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. Winters of Nashville, TN; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Becky Winters of Concord, CA; and a sister, Anna Gleaves of Nashville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Entombment services will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 at two o’clock in the afternoon, Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton-Funeral Home, West Cross Mausoleum.
