Howard W. Evans, Age 87 of Nashville. July 6, 2012. Survived by his wife, Eva Evans; daughter, Rose Marie Alexander; grandchildren, Mylena (Fred) Quinones, Mark (Amanda) Alexander, Adam Alexander; great grandchildren, Drake Quinones, Beau Bennett, Kelsey Bennett Amy Alexander; nephew, Steve (Wendy) Perry. Mr. Evans served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was employed by Genesco and Castner Knot. Private interment to be conducted Monday. A memorial service is scheduled 12 Noon for family and friends Monday, July 9, 2012 with visitation half an hour prior at Vine St. Christian Church. Rev. Thomas Kleinert officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vine St. Christian Church.
