William was united in marriage to Mary Ruth Jordan on April 22, 1965. Together they shared a long and devoted life. He worked as a Postal Worker for the United States Postal Service, where he dedicated many years of service to his community.
William is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ruth Jordan, and his daughters: Gwen Jordan and Theresea Butts.
He is cherished by his grandchildren: Traquista Jordan, Shauntika Butts, and Dominquie Butts, great-grandchild: Zylan Higgins, and sister: Fanni Mai Harris.
He is also survived by his aunt, Ola B. Jordan Rucker, and his sister-in-law's, Mary L Jordan and Debra McCullough, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
William will be remembered for his dedication, his steady presence, and the love he held for his family. His warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
