William Parker Linton (76) of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away on January 30,2019 surrounded by his family. William was known for his love of his sports, dancing, traveling, his dog Pepper, and most of all -- his family and friends. William, or better known as Bill, was caring, laid back, and had a good sense of humor. He spent six years in the Air Force, was a volunteer fireman for 20 years in Milan, MI, and retired with American Airlines after 36 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Linton, his children Sherry Spray of Old Hickory, TN, Wendy Snider (Allen) of Ypsilanti, MI, Wade Linton (Tammy) of Ocean Springs, MS, Pamela Jackson (Matthew) of Saline, MI, and Ronnie Haney of Pensacola, FL, his grandchildren, Vanessa Northrop, Dylan Northrop, Rebekah Linton, Michael Linton, Tyler Aldrich, Alexis Aldrich, Anthony Hileman, Adam Haney, Olivia Spray, and Jameson Spray, and his brother, Steve Linton (Sharon). He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Wilma Linton. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a monetary donation to help cover medical and funeral expenses.
