Mrs. Wilma R. Keeney was born January 3, 1920 and passed away March 31, 2016 at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, William O. Keeney. She is survived by children Rodger (Janice) Keeney of Dallas, TX and Roxann (Larry) Boyd of Brentwood, TN, grandchildren Ryan Boyd, David (Gretchen) Keeney, Amy (Daniel) Spann and Nancy Johnson; great grandchildren Hunter, Taylor, Jake and Madison Boyd, Charles and Nathan Keeney. After graduating from Texas Tech and marrying Bill they lived in many different states and countries while he served as an officer in the United States Air Force. In 1977 they moved to Brentwood where Wilma enjoyed being a part of the community as a member Harpeth Hills Church of Christ and later at Hillsboro Church of Christ, Chairman of the Brentwood Tree Board, Member of the Brentwood Planning Commission, President of the Brentwood Garden Club and President of the Brentwood Friends of the Library. A private family graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, April 7, 2016.
