Feliciana Larete Sy

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Feliciana Larete Sy, who left us peacefully on June 3, 2024, at 6:30 pm. Feliciana was born on June 21, 1958, in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija, to loving parents Lucia and Avelino Larete.

Feliciana was the beloved wife of the late Pablito Garcia Sy, with whom she shared a wonderful marriage filled with love and mutual respect. Their union was blessed with three children: Bryan Paul L. Sy, Doreen Jill L. Sy (married to Jared Jerome Fejerang Campos), and Maria Concepción Abesamis (married to Christopher Mark Abesamis). Feliciana took immense pride in her family, which grew to include her cherished grandchildren: Natasha Dominique Deocampo, Paulien Desiree Deocampo, Jade Kealani Campos, Marco Gabrielle Abesamis, Chrisnie Abesamis, and Miley Abesamis.

Feliciana pursued her education with dedication, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. Her passion for agriculture and her commitment to her community were evident throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren. Feliciana also leaves behind her siblings (Apolinar Larete, Severina Larete Alcantara, Rodrigo Larete, Josiphine Larete Reyes, Miguel Larete and Bert Larete) whose names reflect a close-knit family, each carrying her memory forward.

Feliciana’s life was a testament to kindness, perseverance, and the unwavering love she held for her family, relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and remembered for her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit.

A visitation for Feliciana will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel National City, 607 National City Boulevard, National City, CA 91950. Where family and friends will gather to celebrate Feliciana’s life and legacy. May she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Pablito.
