On June 14, 2024, Jose Alfredo Chavez passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in the city of Chula Vista, California. Jose was born on January 12, 1964, in Tijuana, B.C.
Jose is survived by three brothers, Juan, Francisco, and Victor Chavez and preceded in death by his parents Josefina Estrella, Juan Chavez and Brother Louie Chavez.
Jose was a US Marine for four years and received an honorable discharge. He was employed as a construction worker specializing in stucco.
Jose’s hobbies included listening to music, fishing, camping, playing the lottery, poker, and watching the Padres and Chargers game.
Jose will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
