Jose Alfredo Vasquez

Jose Alfredo Vasquez was born January 20, 1954 in San Diego, California. His parents were Jose Cueva and Margarita (Maggie) Gonsalez. He had three siblings, David Vasquez, Sandra Gonzales, and Monica Vasquez.

In 1979, he married the love of his life Maria France. They were blessed with three beautiful daughters, Mariel, Danielle, and Vanessa and their husbands Eddie and Adrian. They were blessed again with four grandchildren, Joseph, Dominic, Alessandra, and Logan.

His pastimes were boxing and movies. Alfredo loved people. He enjoyed talking and meeting new people. You would often see him cruising around Chula Vista in his white truck with his two dogs Dingo and Bonnie. He enjoyed his days babysitting his grandchildren, tending to his home and yard which he took much pride in. He enjoyed making his rounds in Chula Vista passing out guavas, pens, and discussing his version of politics.

He will always be remembered for his outgoing spirit, and the laughter and joy he brought to others.
