

Born as Pacita SuyaoLomitengto Mariano and RafaelaLomiteng on December 6, 1930 at Ilocos Sur in the Philippines. She was the youngest of the three daughters. Her older sisters’ names: Maria and Rosenda. Pacita was known as “Pacing” to many of her close relatives and friends.
Pacita went to the elementary school and high school in Ilocos Sur but attended college in San Fernando, La Union. She graduated in Business.
Pacita married Francisco Garcia Lacsamana from San Fernando, La Union. They have five children: Frank, Elizabeth, Margarita, Ferdinand and Cecilia. They were blessed with 9 grandchildren. The 6 grandchildren in the Philippines are Catherine, Marlon, Marvin, Maricar, Francis and Vanessa-Joy. The three grandchildren in California are: Frances, Jane, and John.
In 1987, Pacing and her husband moved to California to live with their son, Frank and family. She believed that America is the land of many opportunities. She enjoyed the many places she visited in the U.S.A., Mexico, and Canada. She was involved in the Senior Community Centers: in Mira Mesa and in Downtown. She attended the Catholic churches. She attended many local events for seniors.
Pacita's husband passed away in 2003. Followed by the passing of her younger son, Ferdinand, in 2004. Both men had incurable illness.
Pacita was a caring and generous woman. She kept her faith to God. She was always thinking of how she could help her children and her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife. She was a good friend to many people. She was nice to talk to and a good listener. She touched the hearts of everyone who had known her.
On Thanksgiving morning of 2014, Pacita joined our Lord in heaven.
