With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Edna Myslichuk of Winnipeg on January 15, 2026 at Riverview Care Home. Absent from the body and present with the Lord after 87 years! Born in 1938 at Roblin, Manitoba to the parents of John and Katherena Hrynkiw, she was preceded in death by her husband John who passed away in 2006 and all of her siblings, Norm, Nick, Peter, Joe, Olga (Rumak), and Mary Cockerill. She is survived by her two children Janis (Doug) and Brian (Jynelle).
A celebration of life will be at the family home Saturday, January 24th at 1:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date in Green Acres Cemetery.
Edna will be remembered for her independence and long time residency at the family home in Winnipeg.
