It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bev Fyfe on September 27, 2021. Bev passed peacefully, with his wife and daughter by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gisele and children, Debbie Feisst (Steve); Robert Fyfe; Danial Fyfe; Daniel Therrien (Jacqueline Chénier); Denise Laurin (Lance Lywak); Carole Laurin; and his 10 grandchildren Christian Laurin; Chloé Barre; Michael Fyfe; Sébastien Therrien; Camryn Fyfe; Evan Lywak; Mathieu Therrien; Grace Feisst; Corbin Feisst; and Gabrielle Therrien. Bev was predeceased by his infant daughter Shannon.
Bev lived a full and colorful life. He loved throwing theme parties and his goal was to ensure everyone had a great time and was well fed… 30 years later people still reminisce about those ‘Think Pink’ and ‘Freeze Your Buns Off’ parties. His generous personality and desire to please everyone who touched his life was evident in our collection of patio umbrellas, bug zappers and quirky appliances that Bev just had to share with the people he loved. His positivity and overall curiosity were infectious. If you needed help, Mr. Fyfe was there willing to do anything to help, and this was reflective both in his work life and personal life.
Dad had a lifelong relationship with nature and a love of the outdoors that he shared with his children. He was a master story teller and we were captivated by his many adventurous tales that involved bears, lightning strikes and daring escapes on snowmobile. Family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and taking them to museums, historic sites, buffets that included cotton candy and of course, fishing at the lake. We will treasure these memories for a lifetime.
Bev had a very successful career in the steel industry with Westman Steel and was forever blessed to have worked with the Westman family.
He will be forever missed by his wife Gisele (Giggs) and the rest of his very large extended family and friends. Bev, thank you for the great times, wonderful memories and for all your kindness, we shall miss and love you always.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Siloam Mission which was an organization dear to Bev.
Due to pandemic restrictions, the service will be private, family only. The Celebration of Life will be livestreamed at 2pm, Friday, October 8, 2021 and you can access the Livestream link at www.greenacresfuneralhome.com in the Upcoming Services tab.
