In the early morning hours of July 29th, Dave passed away at the age of 82.
Dave was born in the Gimli/Fraserwood area and later moved to Winnipeg.
Dave was predeceased by his parents, wife Shirley and son Kim (Sharon). He is survived by his son Shawn (Shirley, Hailey & Ashley), wife Barbara; Jennifer (Scott), Kathryn (Adrian, Anika & Sophia), Danielle (Micah, Sacha, Milla, Vivienne) as well as his siblings Jean, Ken, Karen, and their families
Dave enjoyed travelling, spending time with his family, and later in life enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren.
He worked as a letter carrier for over 25 years and operated a home renovations business. He was actively involved with his church and volunteered with the Knights of Columbus. Nothing made him happier than working in his shop and yard.
A service celebrating Dave’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9th at Green Acres Funeral Home.
