Ella is survived by her brother David Nairn; son Victor (Janet) Maxwell; daughter Jeanette Agnot; grandchildren Neil Agnot, Charlene (Jamie) Trudel, and Trevor Agnot; great grandchildren Jalene, Kylee, Nolan Trudel, Isabella Bjurstrom, and nephew Michael Maxwell.
She is predeceased by her loving husband William E Maxwell, her parents William and Jean Nairn, her sister Ann (Arnold) Connell, brother John Nairn, and nephew Brian.
Ella was born May 5, 1923 in Birtle, MB. She was married by the age of 19 to her loving railroad man and lived in several different places until settling in Lorette, where she resided for 38 years.
Her life was filled with being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, auntie, and friend. She helped many people and was involved in several church and community services. Ella was the oldest and greatly cherished member of the CWL for over 60 years.
Ella will be missed but remembered fondly by her friends and family. In your divine mercy welcome Ella into your Heavenly garden.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private Resurrection Mass will be held. A funeral service video will be available on You Tube at 3:30pm Friday May 21, 2021.
