On December 23, 2020 the most huggable daughter passed away.
Irene is survived by her mother Giselle Kardynal (Bob), Dave Simard, loving sister Candace and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Irene passed away suddenly at HSC after a short illness.
Irene was a very loving person, which everyone that knew her loved her deeply. Irene loved to string can tabs and donate them for children’s wheelchairs in her community of Lorette. She loved to watch TV series and hug her dogs, Laycee and Appollo. Irene greeted people who came over with a warm hug and an offer for a massage.
We will miss you my baby girl, till we meet again. Love you to the moon and back.

Due to Covid, a private celebration of life will take place later this year.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Irene’s memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
